Q: How much does each term cost?
A: Each base and term costs may vary. Please check with the location you want to apply for directly.
Q: Do I need to take certain classes before being accepted?
A: You can attend the fall semester without any prerequisites; however, for the winter semester, you are required to have taken 101:
The Art of Hearing God. In order to attend the Six week intensive, potential interns must have either ISD 102 or ISD 202 completed.
Q: What is included in the cost?
A: Your tuition will include:
- Course materials
- Accommodation
- Meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Transportation to/from offices, outreaches, church
Q: International Student requirements?
A: Streams cannot provide you with a student VISA or guarantee that you will be allowed into the USA or Canada. We can, however,
give you some suggestions about things you can do to better your chances of getting in:
- Valid passport
- Voluntary work visa for the USA or Canada
- Proof of your plans to return to your country
- Proof of your financial support
Q: What are you looking for in your applicants?
A: We are looking for humble, teachable, God-focused people.
Q: Do you accept married couples?
A: Each case is evaluated on an individual basis, but we are open to this in the right circumstances. Each spouse is required to apply
individually.
Q: Is it difficult to complete the term?
A: It takes courage, perseverance, and flexibility.
Q: Does Streams SoM have any way to help me raise funds?
A: Often interns raise support through their local church and/or fund raisers. Tips on fund raising can be found here.
Q: How many intern positions are available?
A: Typically the internship size ranges from 15 to 35 people.
